G&M Australia is proud to present 15 Coveted Awards in each of the main areas of food and service across Australia.
Finalists for each award will be announced and presented with a branded certificate at each of the respective Mise en Place Trade Events.
Winners announced at the 2019 G&M Australia Restaurant Guide Launch in Sydney on Monday 11th February 2019.

This award recognises the best of the new G&M POP category, a selection of trendy and accessible restaurants, bars and bistros created to enjoy, where experience and concept occupy a central place, delivering the food and wine experience in a dynamic way to multiple dining demographics. Whilst it may not conform to traditional expectations, it must still provide a unique and memorable experience to the diner that is professional, fresh and inspired.
Hotel/Casino/Resort Restaurant of the Year
The emergence of Restaurants of significance within Hotels and Casinos is undeniable, and we believe this trend deserves recognition for those Restaurants striving to provide both its patrons and visitors the best food and wine experience not only within that Hotel or Casino, but also in a wider context.
SERVICE EXPERIENCE OF THE YEAR
Whilst our Professional of the Year recognises an individual, that provides or influences an exceptional service experience, this award rewards a team achievement in delivering that overall outcome. G&M are very passionate about improving service standards, and we believe this award is a positive step in the right direction.
